TODAY'S PROVERB
When you begin to believe you are as good as SHE says you are, you have lost both your sense of proportion and your sense of humor.

LACK OF MILITARY DISCIPLINE
The following is extracted from the Division Air Inspector's report of 8 Feb 44:
"During a course of inspection of Station 109 a marked slackness in saluting was observed. Actually, saluting was most evident by its absence. Large numbers of officers and enlisted men were observed passing each other on the roads with practically no salutes being exchanged between the officers and enlisted men or between the officers. In several offices, enlisted men remained seated, even when addressed by the inspecting officers. In one office, a clerk, upon being questioned, stated that he had never been instructed to rise when addressed by an officer."

Organization Commanders will take necessary steps to correct this situation at once.

ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL

The V.D. Pennant is awarded to the 32nd Station Complement Squadron for
this week. They had the highest rate during the last week although the 327th
Bomb Sq actually had the greatest number of cases.

The V.D. rate at this Station has risen alarmingly during the past month.
All cases cause work days lost and hinder the war effort; they likewise result
in physical conditions that not only cause trouble at the time but may result in
disabilities that persist throughout lifetime.

All personnel are requested to use total abstinence or proper use of
prophylactic facilities available so that no more cases will result.
